Weekend fun

Friday afternoon, David and I hopped in the car and headed to Bend to stay until Saturday. We had a good friend from church (and all through school too, for David) that we went to youth group with that was getting married on Saturday. So we decided to go the day before and stay the night and have some us time - probably one last time before baby #2 comes. We didn't get left as early in the afternoon as we had liked, so we didn't get to sightsee, or look around Bend as much as we wanted to, but that's ok, we still had a great time, running into a couple and their son that had been youth helpers at our church while we were in high school, so we got to have dinner with them. Then just strolling around the Old Mill District on Saturday morning shopping for a bit before heading back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. Our friend Kirk, married a professional snowboarder names Janna Meyen...maybe you've heard of her...I hadn't ever. It was a very unique, fun wedding and though we didn't know more than a few people, we had a good time. And it was out on a ranch pretty much in the middle of nowhere in Bend, but it was so beautiful - even though its mostly dry and brown, the view is always so nice out there!
