Pumpkin carving & Halloween

A few nights before Halloween we finally sat down and carved a pumpkin for the kids. We actually had 2 - one smaller and one huge one, so we just carved the smaller one. Hannah enjoyed helping David carve the face on it, and as you can see from the pic, Isaiah was all about being in on it too!

On Halloween night, instead of Trick-or-treating, we went to the Dayspring Church Harvest party. We met up with our friends Tim, Stacy and their daughter Ashlynne and Stacy's mom Jeannette. Hannah dressed as Snow White, Isaiah was a skunk and Ashlynne was Minnie Mouse. The kids had a great time, although Isaiah didn't really know what was going on, but he clapped his hands and seemed excited. Hannah was especially excited about all the candy, and I have to hide and hand out very sparingly. :) After the party, the kids were tired, so we made 2 quick stops to the grandparents' houses and headed home for bed.
