Christmas is in the Air

The day after Thanksgiving, the kids and I got all our Christmas stuff out and decorated up the house. Then, the week after, we headed up to my Uncle Gene & Aunt Judy's house in the Hubbard area to pick out our tree. They have a tree farm with really reasonable prices so we thought we'd check them out. In the past we've had an artificial tree, but I wanted to start a tradition of going out as a family and finding a tree together. It was fun and Hannah liked every tree she saw. Isaiah didn't seem to care too much yet...he just wandered around the field. We actually found one we really liked almost right away, so Uncle Gene cut it down for us and we loaded up and headed home. Unfortunately we didn't get it decorated that evening, because of other things going on. Finally a week later (last Thurs) we got it all decorated. Hannah and Isaiah had fun, especially Hannah and a majority of the ornaments have been hung at her level, sort of all scrunched together, but I left them that way, because it was her own special touch.
