Well, on the 18th of August, Isaiah turned 8 months old! Hard to believe how fast time is flying! Before we know it he'll be turning one. I had to take him to the dr to have a check up on something and he weighed 22 lbs, 10 oz!! He's a chunky one! Hannah was 25 lbs at a year....he'll for sure pass her up. He loves to clap his hands but besides his "army" crawling he's not doing a whole lot that's new. His one arm he uses to push himself while "army" crawlingis even a little rough now from getting around that way. Who knows, maybe he'll skip the "real" crawling. He is pretty quick though. The other day I was vacuuming the house and he was following me around - right behind me, keeping up. It was pretty cute. He still just has his bottom 2 teeth that he's had since about 5 mo, but I can see one of his top teeth is ready to pop through anyday now. As a result he's been drooling a lot, but thankfully he's in a pretty good mood for teething - actually, fortunately both of my kids were good teethers...that is until Hannah got to the molars...that made her a little more fussy. Anyway, he's very alert and anxiously awaits us to come get him out of bed, popping his head up and all smiles to greet us when we walk in. He adores his big sister and follows her around too. She tried to be my helper when I wasn't watching yesterday and tried to carry him to me, and accidentally dropped him...not too hard, thank goodness and the crying only lasted about 5 sec. This time when I took his pic in the chair, he was very excited about it and very wiggly so it was hard to get a really good one of him sitting still...it still turned out cute though. He is also getting a mind of his own and if he doesn't like something he'll let us know about it.
