Tree Lighting & Santa

On Tues, Dec 1st, Keizer had its annual tree lighting. So the kids and I bundled ourselves up and headed down to the spot on River Rd to see the tree get lit and to meet Santa. We met up with my parents and Paul and Georganne there. After waiting a while, Santa finally arrived in the old Keizer fire engine, driven by David, which is why he didn't go with us. He lit the tree and then everyone crowded in line to see him. After waiting close to an hour, our turn finally came and Hannah decided she didn't want anything to do with him. David came along at that time and she let him hold her on his lap, while Isaiah sat on Santa's. Isaiah was fine at first but then started looking at him more, and the bottom lip soon came out and he let us know he didn't like Santa either. Oh well, it was worth the try and it was a fun evening. I don't have many pics because my camera battery died, but here is what I did have...
