Our next door neighbor, Sheila, is very into gardening. She is very helpful when I'm not sure what to do with my flowers. :) A couple Sundays ago, she came over and said she had some strawberry plants and peas that she wanted to give to Hannah and help her plant. So we put some warmer clothes on her (it was a sunny day, but chilly, however as soon as she sees the sun, she wants to wear a tank top and shorts) and she headed out to plant with Sheila. We had gotten pots out for her to plant them in for this year, and next year we'll transplant them into something bigger. She got to help shovel the dirt into the pots and then planted each strawberry plant and then with my help we planted the seeds for the peas. She is very excited about her little "garden" and even though the soil was pretty damp, was very anxious to water it right away. She's been going out on the back patio each day to look at her plants, and see if the peas have started sprouting (even though it will take a little while). She's super excited too, that the strawberries will be ready soon after her birthday! :)

Hannah may be your little gardner that doesn't mind getting her hands too dirty. She can help grandpa plant garden too. :-)
