Milk Moustaches

Just a scoop on what's been going on here...

Hannah and I have had the last couple days (and all next week to come) here at home, just us...me getting to be a single mom for about a week and a half. Early Wednesday, David and Ben (our youth helper) headed off to Indianapolis, IN for FUEL, which is a youth leaders convention. David was asked to lead/speak at 3 sessions there on the topic "how sin affects ministry." The day before he left, something I'm sure the enemy loved happened - his laptop had some big error message pop up, and he lost all of his notes he had saved! He felt sick and I felt sick for him! So he got to work on that on the plane, instead of sleeping. Next week he is in Vancouver all week taking a couple ministerial classes. I'm very proud of him for everything he is doing for the Lord and even though being a "single mom" will be tough, its worth it! :)

So, now onto the reason for the title of this blog...

Yesterday afternoon, my sister Anna came by with two of her kids - Cambria and Micah, and we went to the mall to check out a great sale at Children's Place. Hannah and Micah got along so well, which was great because its just not so fun when they are always trying to pick fights with each other. Anyway, we found them each a cute hat which theyenjoyed wearing and didn't want to take off, and then Anna and I needed (maybe more like wanted:)) a Starbucks. Since the kids were good, we got them a chocolate milk to share. Its hard to see in the pic and who knows how it happens drinking out of a straw, but they got some pretty good milk moustaches. They were so cute in their new little hats with milk all around their mouths - and of course their cheesy grins, we had to get a pic when we got home.
